Nate Maiwald is an Investment Associate who joined BIP Ventures in 2024. His background in financial modeling, tech M&A, and market research helps him identify attractive investment opportunities, perform due diligence, and support the firm's portfolio companies.

Nate came to BIP Ventures from JLL’s corporate development team, where he helped to build the company’s proptech platform and expand their CRE service offering via M&A. He has experience across several transaction types, including acquisitions, divestitures, and joint ventures.

He holds a B.S. in finance from Berry College where he is still involved as an alumnus. Outside of work, Nate is a long-suffering Tottenham Hotspur fan, and enjoys playing/watching soccer, learning Italian, and going on walks with his fiancé and dog.


