Every year since 1982, Inc. Magazine has published its Inc. 5000 list to recognize and rank companies according to percentage revenue growth over the previous three-year period. The 2023 Inc. 5000 companies had to have launched and been generating revenue by March 31, 2019. The minimum revenue required for 2019 is $100,000 and the minimum for 2022 is $2 million.
The 2023 list highlights companies that were able to drive significant revenue growth amid inflationary pressures, rising capital costs, and persistent hiring challenges. Despite those headwinds, the average median three-year revenue growth for this cohort was 2,238 percent. Collectively, these companies added 1,187,266 jobs to the economy between 2019 and 2022.
The recognition puts these six BIP Ventures portfolio companies among the top 12% fastest-growing privately-owned companies in the country. Though they range in maturity, size, and sector, these honorees showcase how innovation is shaping how we care for our health, sustain growing enterprises, and enjoy time together.
